There are things we know now about how the brain develops and learns that we did not know 5-10 years ago. This session explores how the classroom activities and environment you plan lead to experiences that literally shape the structure and wiring of children’s brains, impacting their ability to learn for the rest of their lives. Knowing how the brain develops and learns will help you plan activities and teach children in a way that is compatible with how the brain learns. |
